Björn Trägårdh (1908 – 1998) was only 20 years old when he first started working for Svenskt Tenn. With Uno Åhrén, he contributed several pieces of furniture to the store's first furniture department. Estrid Ericson and Björn Trägårdh curated several notable exhibitions, and he also created a pewter object and lamps for Svenskt Tenn.
In 1939 he moved to Paris to devote himself to painting. During and after the Second World War, he returned to designing objects and created, among other things, buttons and brooches for famous fashion houses such as Dior. He is represented at, among others, Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and a number of museums in France.
